Competencias comunicativas en el nivel universitario

Abstract

La investigación y el aprendizaje son la razón de ser de la universidad, comprometida a constituirse en el centro del pensamiento, la creación del conocimiento científico, la cultura hecha ciencia; por ello la universidad debe estar en permanente innovación, acorde al avance de la ciencia y tecnología para responder a las necesidades de su contexto. Por otra parte, las ciencias sociales han dado respuesta al comportamiento lingüístico humano, preocupado por la naturaleza del lenguaje. Hoy en día, ¿Cuál es la visión del docente que enseña lenguaje? La respuesta se irá dando progresivamente según los niveles de investigación y siempre será insuficiente, porque dicho docente será perennemente aprendiz, debido a los principios de la diacronía y sincronía del lenguaje, que se fundamentan en la ciencia y la experiencia. La óptica profesional y la experiencia acumulada en el trabajo docente del nivel básico y superior universitario fueron las motivaciones para plasmar el presente trabajo, con el propósito de contribuir a mejorar la calidad del aprendizaje de los estudiantes y coadyuvar al trabajo profesional en el desarrollo de la disciplina llamada: Lengua Castellana, Lengua Española, Competencia Lingüística o Comunicación, conducido en los primeros semestres de los estudios universitarios.
