Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo describir el estado actual de la investigación científica sobre la flexibilidad laboral en Millennials, definiéndose como una estrategia que permite a las organizaciones adaptarse correctamente a las nuevas necesidades de sus trabajadores, generando modificaciones o reestructuraciones dentro de los puestos o funciones de trabajo, se menciona además que la población “Millennials” es considerada la nueva generación predominante de la fuerza laboral, involucrándose en diversas estrategias y decisiones a nivel empresarial. Por otro lado, se identificaron las principales características y variables a nivel organizacional y personal que se han visto impactadas por esta práctica laboral y considerando que el estudio es de corte investigación documental se basó en la revisión de fuentes secundarias como artículos científicos, revisiones sistemáticas y estudios asociados publicados entre los años 2014 y 2022, tomando como referencia teorías psicológicas como la Teoría del establecimiento de metas y objetivos de Locke, Teoría de la jerarquía de las necesidades de Maslow, Teoría de los Factores motivacionales e higiénicos de Herzberg, Teoría de las expectativas de Vroom, Teoría de las necesidades adquiridas desarrollada por McClelland y Teoría psicología positiva de Seligman.

The objective of this study was to describe the current state of scientific research on labor flexibility in Millennials, defining it as a strategy that allows organizations to adapt correctly to the new needs of their workers, generating modifications or restructuring within positions or functions. work, it is also mentioned that the "Millennials" population is considered the predominant new generation of the workforce, getting involved in various strategies and decisions at the business level. On the other hand, the main characteristics and variables at the organizational and personal level that have been impacted by this work practice were identified and considering that the study is of a documentary research nature, it was based on the review of secondary sources such as scientific articles, systematic reviews and Associated studies published between 2014 and 2022, taking as reference psychological theories such as Locke's Theory of setting goals and objectives, Maslow's Theory of the hierarchy of needs, Herzberg's Theory of Motivational and Hygienic Factors, Theory of Vroom's expectations, Theory of acquired needs developed by McClelland and Seligman's Theory of positive psychology.
