Dayton Barış Anlaşması (Dayton Peace Agreement)

Abstract

Bosna Hersek’te 1992-1995 yılları arasında devam eden savaşı bitiren anlaşmadır. Tam adı Bosna Hersek’te Barış İçin Genel Çerçeve Anlaşması’dır (The General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia Herzegovina). Anlaşmayı, Bosna Hersek Cumhuriyeti adına Cumhurbaşkanı Alija İzetbegovic, Hırvatistan adına Cumhurbaşkanı Franjo Tudjman ve Yugoslavya Federal Cumhuriyeti adına Cumhurbaşkanı Slobodan Miloşeviç imzalamıştır. Anlaşma, ABD’nin Ohio Dayton’da bulunan askeri hava üssünde ABD yönetiminin üç hafta süren yoğun diplomatik arabuluculuk çabalarının sonucunda parafe edilmiştir.
