Abstract

Estudia la relación entre la técnica de lactancia materna exclusiva e ictericia neonatal por deshidratación en el Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza durante el 2015. La ictericia neonatal en el recién nacido es una patología común y multifactorial, relacionada con incompatibilidad de grupo sanguíneo entre la madre y el recién nacido, enfermedades hemolíticas e infecciosas, deshidratación neonatal, entre otras. El presente estudio no solo ayudará a modificar las guías clínicas del servicio, en cuanto a resaltar la tarea preventiva promocional, sino que también ayudará a proyectar la necesidad de reforzar al personal de salud y a las madres en general de la importancia de la lactancia materna en los primeros días del neonato y el uso de una adecuada técnica para tomar conciencia de la importancia de esta práctica.
