Abstract

The topic and the research in the dissertation are aimed at the kinematic realization of the European terrestrial reference system (ETRS89) on the territory of Bulgaria. This consists in determining the actual velocities of the points, which are a practical materialization of the coordinate system on the territory of the country. Processing and analysis of raw data from certified infrastructure networks has been performed. It is processed with the scientific software package Bernese GNSS Software, following the requirements and recommendations of experts in the field. A methodology for locating block structures with similar horizontal intraplate velocity fields has been developed, which can be recognized by all points in the block. As a result a model of the horizontal intraplate velocities is developed in the official coordinate system for Bulgaria - ETRS89, realization ETRF2000, epoch 2005.0. The developed model of the horizontal velocities is compared with data from 45 stations of a control infrastructure network. Interpolation of the velocities of points from the Main Order of the State GPS Network was performed, which are compared with those derived for the period 2004-2018. The obtained results are encouraging for practical application of the methodology and reliable kinematic realization of the Bulgarian Geodetic System 2005.
