ÖZET Bir çok avantajlı özelliklerinden dolayı LPG alternatif yakıt olarak motorlu taşıtlarda kullanılmaktadır. Bunun yanında temiz yakıt oluşu ve ekonomikliği nedeniyle sanayi kuruluşlarında ve ısınma maksadıyla da mesken ve işyerlerinde tercih edilmektedir. LPG sektörü de buna paralel olarak büyümektedir. Önümüzdeki yıllarda motorların % 20 sinin LPG' li olacağı tahmin edilmektedir. Bu yüzden Türkiye'de de konuya önem verilmiş ve 1991 de LPG kullanımı yasallaşmıştır. Yakıtın ekonomik oluşu talebi arttırmış ve buna bağlı olarak da LPG sektörüne büyük ilgi doğmuştur. Dönüşüm sistemleri için birçok servis ve ikmal istasyonu kurulmuştur. Montaj standartlarının gecikmesi, denetim kuruluşlarının yavaş hareketi, ehliyetsiz kişilerin bu sektöre girmesine zemin hazırlamıştır. Motorlu araçlarda LPG dönüşüm sistemleri uygulaması; ehliyetli kişilerce, standartlara uygun yapılsa bile yine de bazı problemler kaçınılmazdır. Bunun esas nedeni motorların benzinli olarak imal edilmeleri, daha sonra LPG ye dönüştürülmesidir. Araçların hem benzinli, hem de LPG' li olarak kullanılma isteği motor ayarlarına güçleştirmektedir. Bu nedenle de kullanıcılar değişik problemlerle karşılaşmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada LPG sektörünün Dünyada ve Türkiye'deki durumu, LPG teknolojileri, üretim, dağıtım, depolama, satış ve dönüşüm sonrası problemler ele alınmıştır.

LPG is used as on alternative fuel by many vehicales because of its several advantages. It' s preferred by the industrial foundations in houses and offices for heating because it's cheep and clean So LPG sector is expanding parallel with their developments. In near future it's estimated that % 20 of vehicles will be using LPG. Because of that pay affenttion for LPG and LPG usage has been legal since 1991. The cheapness of LPG increase the demand and so the LPG got a very big affenttion. Lot of services are founded for LPG transformation systems. The delay in the standarts for LPG establishment the slowness of inspecting foundations, cause the unprofessional enter the sector. Some problems are exposed even if the transformation is done suitable for the standards by the professionals. The main reason for this problem, dsigned. Drivers want to us© their vehicles both with LPG and gasoline. But this demand makes the engine settings more complicated. So the drivers are facing different problems. In this study, the situation of LPG sector in the world and Turkey, the technology production in the sector,, storing LPG, sales of LPG and the transformation problems are discussed.
