Abstract

Bu araştırma anasınıfı çocukları ve ilkokul birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin ilkokula yönelik algılarını ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Adana ili Çukurova ilçesine bağlı okul öncesi kurumuna devam eden farklı sınıflardan altı yaş grubu 45 çocuk ve aynı mahalleye bağlı bir ilkokula devam eden 45 birinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Araştırma olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) deseniyle yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veriler mosaic approach (mozaik yaklaşım) yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çocuklarla birebir görüşmeler yapılıp, sonrasında çocuklara resim çizdirip anlattırma yöntemiyle daha geniş verilere ulaşılmıştır. Toplanan görüşme verileri içerik analizi yöntemiyle, çocukların çizdiği resimlerin verileri ise betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada çocukların görüşme bulgularıyla resim bulguları paralellik göstermiş olup, araştırma sonucunda anasınıfı çocuklarının da birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin de okulların dış mekan ve iç mekanlarına yönelik, günlük akış ve programlarına yönelik, sınıf yönetimine yönelik ve son olarak akran ilişkilerine yönelik olmasını istedikleri veya istemedikleri birtakım görüşlerde bulundukları görülmüştür.

This research was carried out in order to reveal the perceptions of preschool and first grade pupils towards primary school. The sample of that study consist of 45 pupils at age of six, who attends the preschool, and 45 pupils who attends the first grade of primary school at the same quarter of Adana province, Çukurova district. This research was carried out by phenomenology research design. The data was obtained with mosaic technique. According to this, firstly one-to-one interviews were held with each child then in order to obtain more broad data, children were asked to draw a picture and explain it. The collected interview data, were analyzed by content analysis method, data obtained from pictures were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that interview findings are parallel with picture findings, as the result it also were obtained, that preschool pupil and first grade students have likewise views about what they want and doesnt want according to outdoor and indoor school environment, daily flows and programs, classroom mangement and peer relations.
