Abstract

La región estudiada está enmarcada en la cordillera oriental, específicamente en la provincia de Sandia. Aquí se ha estudiado petrográficamente las cuarcitas y areniscas de la Formación Sandia, analizando sus relaciones petrofísicas entre dos fuentes diferentes de sedimentación, sus relaciones laterales sedimentológicos, paleontológicos (en su base) y tectónicos durante el Paleozoico inferior.
