Abstract

Folksongs played with “kemence” have been mixed in highland festivals in Giresun, Gümüşhane and Trabzon. Before urbanization, traditional marriage ceremonies and transhumance are performance medium coming from daily and economic life not divided by today administrative borders. Traditional songs minstrelsy with “kemençe” performed in village wedding feasts and transhumance festivals have been lived in historical verbal culture till TRT broadcasts are effective in the region. Besides effects of media, as result of administrative interventions to performance medium and migration from rural areas into urban, song minstrelsy with “kemence” are not performed anymore. After dependency on agriculture and animal breeding are being weaken, seasonal migration for animal breeding are not present today. Singing style of folksongs and medium of kemençe performance have been transforming into new forms in last decade. Transhumance experienced by retired people and summer tourism result in highland festivals. This new type of transhumance affected “kemençe” performance styles. This article analyses footprints of traditional “kemence” performance in verbal and written culture of East Black Sea Region.

Medyanın etk s n n yanında bugünkü cra ortamlarına yapılan dar -mülk müdahaleler, kentleşmen n sonuçları le dış kentlere göçler n etk s yle âşık tarzı kemençec l k cra ed lemez durumdadır. Tarım ve hayvancılığa olan bağımlılık ortadan kalkmış, otçu göçler kalmamıştır. Buna karşılık kemençe çalma ve türkü söyleme son yıllarda yen den b ç mlenmekte, cra ortamı ve kemençec l k bağlamı değ şmekted r. Emekl yaylacılığı le yaz tur zm n n etk s yle günümüz yayla şenl kler cat ed lm ş, böylel kle kemençec l k şlev ve yapı değ şmeler ne uğramıştır. Köy düğünler yer ne salon düğünler nde kemençe craları başlamıştır. Bu çalışma sonradan ortaya çıkmış bu şlevsel, yapısal ve anlamsal değ şmelerden öncek geleneksel kemençec l ğ n sözlü ve yazılı kültürdek zler nden faydalanılarak hazırlanmıştır
