What are the ideas of different local groups about being a member of global citizenship? Global citizenship means Ihat as citizens of the world. peoples have responsibilities towards each other and the Earth itself. The reason for having responsibilities towards each other is the will to act for making the world a more equitable and Iiveable place. The view of accepting the world as a home which is built for collective efficacy will make people who have so many differences familiar. The main idea of global citizenship is respect for diversity and living together peacefully, Besides, there are varied ideas of different localgroups about how to be a global citizen and such ideas effect the way peop|e believe in global citizenship. There are some factors imposing them to give rise to these ideas in question. The major factors are economical and historical differences. The differences of economical and historical aspects in peoples' social life influence them to think in assorted ways. This presentation is based on Ameritan, European and African people's opinions in regard to global citizenship. The purpose of the presentation is to show different perspectives of local groups and to explain economical and historical influences on their ideas about global citizenship.
