Análisis de Sectores Claves a través de Matrices de Contabilidad Social: el Caso de Andalucía

Abstract

Este artículo presenta un análisis aplicado para la economía andaluza para el periodo comprendido entre 1990 y 2005. Tomando como base de datos las Matrices de Contabilidad Social, se determinarán los sectores clave de la economía utilizando tanto métodos clásicos de detección como técnicas alternativas como el método de extracción hipotética o la matriz del producto multiplicador y su representación tridimensional. Adicionalmente, se obtendrán los multiplicadores de empleo sectoriales de la economía. Los resultados obtenidos nos muestran estabilidad en aquellos sectores con mayor impacto en la economía y ausencia de nuevos sectores con relevante capacidad de impulso y arrastre simultáneamente. Además, el impacto de shocks exógenos en términos de empleo se concentra en los mismos sectores durante todo el periodo. Estos resultados pueden ser útiles para la planificación económica regional.
