En la presente tesis se buscó investigar cuál era el nivel de implementación de los nueve factores del TQM definidos por Benzaquen (2013) en las empresas del sector automotriz de Lima Metropolitana. Para este propósito se compiló una base de datos de empresas que ofrecían el servicio de la comercialización de vehículos ligeros, medianos y pesados. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance descriptivo, se utilizó un diseño no experimental, transeccional. Como resultado de la investigación se ha determinado que en la mayoría de los factores se obtuvieron valores promedio altos, lo cual indicaría que existe un elevado nivel de cumplimiento de los factores del TQM. Los alcances de la presente investigación se circunscriben a la muestra obtenida de 25 empresas del sector automotriz de Lima Metropolitana, es por ello que los resultados no pueden inferirse a todo el sector.

In this thesis we sought to investigate what was the level of implementation of the nine factors of the TQM defined by Benzaquen (2013) in the automotive industry of Lima Metropolitana. For this purpose, a database of companies that offer a commercialization of light, medium and heavy vehicles was compiled. The research had a quantitative approach, of descriptive scope; a non-experimental and transactional design was used. As a result of the investigation it was determined that most factors higher average values were obtained , which would indicate that there is a high level of compliance with the factors of TQM . The scope of the present investigation was limited to the sample obtained 25 automotive companies of Lima Metropolitana, which is why the results cannot be inferred to the whole sector.
