Arastırmanın konusu ?Yalova li gne Oyaları?dır.Çalısmada Yalova ilindeevlerde ve hala üretilen merkezlerde bulunan igne oyaları incelenmeye çalısılmıstır.Buyörede çesitli igne oyası örneklerine rastlanmaktadır.Bu arastırma ile Yalova ili ve civar köylerinde igne oyaları ürün, cins, boyutları,malzemeleri ve uygulanan teknik, kullanılan renkler, seçilen konu, kompozisyonözellikleri, kullanım alanları, günümüzdeki durumu gibi konular çözümekavusturulacaktır.El sanatlarımız arasında yer alan igne oyalarının günümüzdeki yeri, geçmistekiyeri arastırılmıstır. Gözlem fislerinde incelenen igne oyalarının bütün özellikleri baslıklaraltında verilmis ve ayrıntılı olarak anlatılmıstır.Üçüncü bölümde oya sanatı, tanımı, tarihi gelisimi, oyanın günümüzdeki yeri vesınıflandırılması anlatılmıstır.gne oyalarının ; tanımı, tarihi gelisimi,kullanılan araç gereler, kullanılanteknikler, süsleme ve motif özellikleri, renk özellikleri kullanım alanları, günümüzdekidurumu hakkında bilgi verilmistir.Dördüncü bölüm, arastırmanın toplu sonuçlarını kapsamaktadır.
