Mantenimiento. Una experiencia japonesa

Abstract

El mantenimiento de edificios es una actividad cuya racionalidad nadie discute, pero que está tardando demasiado en convertirse en nuestro país en una práctica normal. Sin embargo, desde algunas instituciones se ha trabajado para proporcionar material informativo y práctico que ayudara a aquellos usuarios o técnicos que estuviesen interesados en ponerlas en práctica. Es sabido que Japón es unos de los países que con mas éxito ha trabajado en la implantación de sistemas de calidad en la producción. Era natural pensar que también trataran con mucho rigor el mantenimiento. Por ello nos interesamos ante la empresa constructora más reconocida mundialmente entre las de aquel país para saber de cómo documentaban esta actividad. Esta comunicación es una introducción al manual que nos enviaron como respuesta.
