Abstract

El Centro de Estudios Histórico- Culturales, algunos de cuyos integrantes exponen a través de esta publicación del Instituto de Investigación aspectos parciales o puntuales de investigaciones de mayor alcance, fue creado en 1982 con el objeto de: a) Encauzar y coordinar trabajos de investigación en la carrera de Historia de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales. b) Crear un ámbito propicio para producir estudios que aportan a la reconstrucción y reflexión metódica del pasado provincial. c) Preparar fundamentalmente recursos humanos y encarar estudios de carácter interdiciplinarios. d) Coordinar actividades tendientes a vincular la carrera de Historia con otras similares de la región y por ultimo encarar la divulgación de trabajo a través de publicaciones y/o presentaciones públicas. Desde su creación y hasta la fecha el CEHC ha realizado una labor silenciosa pero creciente, de allí que la temática que se expone refleja solo en parte la diversidad de líneas de investigación que girando alrededor de la compleja realidad histórica regional y específicamente misionera son abordados por sus investigadores, becarios y auxiliares.
