Przejście od katechezy dziecięcej do katechezy dorosłych. Prezentacja dokumentu „Katecheza dorosłych we wspólnocie chrześcijańskiej” Międzynarodowej Rady ds. Katechezy

Abstract

Międzynarodowa Rada do spraw Katechezy podczas VI sesji plenarnej, odbywanej w Rzymie w dniach 23-29 października 1988 r., podjęła analizę tematu „Katecheza dorosłych we wspólnocie chrześcijańskiej”. Określa racje, motywy, kryteria i inne punkty odniesienia katechezy dorosłych. The International Council for Catechesis, at its VI Plenary Session held in Rome from 23 to 29 October 1988, undertook an analysis of the theme „Catechesis of Adults in the Christian Community”. The aim of this document is to seek a connection between the Christian message proclaimed and the conditions of people’s lives which would contribute to overcoming the distance between Church and social life, faith and culture, which seriously limits the encounter with the adult generation. „The document” analyses three levels of people’s lives in the contemporary world: at the level of economic-social life, socio-cultural life and the ecclesial communities themselves. It defines the content and draws attention to the language of catechesis. It identifies the motives, criteria and other reference points of adult catechesis. The contents, contained in the document analysed and presented in this reflection, can be looked at as a stimulus for the preservation and development of the spirit of community and solidarity, and can be considered in terms of the exchange of ideas and means necessary in the implementation of adult catechesis so that the adult becomes increasingly a subject in the perspective of the new evangelisation.
