Periodontits agresiva

Abstract

La periodontitis es una enfermedad crónica, inflamatoria, infecciosa, poligénica de etiología multifactorial, donde la etiología microbiológica específica es muy importante y su presentación clínica es polimorfa. Se asocia a la presencia de periodontopatógenos y a una respuesta alterada del hospedador. En el seminario internacional de 1999 de la A.A.P. un sub-grupo de ellas fueron designadas Periodontitis Agresivas (PA)
