Lixiviación de nitratos en relación con el riego localizado en tomate de invernadero

Abstract

Para el estudio de la lixiviación de nitratos procedentes del tomate en medio controlado, hemos contado con un invernadero de cristal 208 m2, en el cual se acondicionaron pocetas lisimétricas, de 5.9 m*, permitiendo el cultivo de veinticuatro plantas de tomate variedad "Daniela" por unidad experimental, un diseño estadístico de bloques al azar con tratamientos en split-plot, dos tratamientos de riego (R1 y R2) y dos tratamientos de nitrógeno (N1 y N2). El agua se suministró a través de una instalación de riego localizado y la nutrición por fertirrigación. La ETc del cultivo se calculó a partir del kc en relación con la evaporación de la cubeta clase A, en invernadero. Para obtener lixiviación del sistema, en RI1 ala ETcse le aplicó un 24% más de agua y en R2 un 38%. La cantidad de nitrógeno en el tratamiento N1 fue de 348 kg ha" y 696 kg ha" en N2. Durante los dos años de ensayo, se analizó parámetros fisiológicos y de cosecha en los cuatro tratamientos (R1N1, R1N2, R2N1 y R2N2). Una vez retiradas las plantas, se tomaron muestras de suelo a dos profundidades (15 y 40 cm) en las filas de plantas y en los pasillos. Al final del ensayo, con el fin de producir un lavado se aplicó un riego de 30 mm, analizando posteriormente agua de drenaje y suelo. Observamos que la cantidad de agua aplicada es un factor fundamental en la distribución del nitrógeno en el suelo y en la respuesta de las plantas a la nutrición nitrogenada.
