Authors: Castellanos Moreno, Úrsula Fernanda;

Abstract

We must recognize that the city is not only a space or a physical structure but a complex social system with multiple circumstances and problems; a system in which all sciences and disciplines have to act in order to overcome such trouble and improve the relationships in urban life. The right to the city is delayed to be recognized as a group of guarantees, starting from the right to life in decent fair conditions, the improvement of the citizens' life quality, the prevalence of general interest; up to the protection of sidewalks, the defense of a healthy environment, the development of infrastructure by means of bridges, highways and other architectonic works; as well as the preservation of the historic and cultural patrimony.
