Modelação da viscosidade absoluta dos asfalto-borracha usando redes neurais artificiais

Abstract

A viscosidade absoluta, medida pelo viscosímetro Brookfield, é uma das principais propriedades dos ligantes asfálticos modificados com borracha. A viscosidade mede a capacidade de fluxo dos ligantes asfálticos sob elevadas temperaturas, sendo de fundamental importância nas operações de usinagem e nas propriedades mecânicas das misturas asfálticas. Este trabalho apresenta um modelo, obtido com a utilização de redes neurais artificiais, para a previsão da viscosidade Brookfield dos asfaltos-borracha produzidos pelo processo úmido a partir das principais variáveis do processo de fabricação: granulometria e percentagem de borracha granulada, tempo e temperatura de mistura e tipo do ligante asfáltico convencional utilizado. O treinamento da RNA e a validação do modelo proposto foram feitos com base nos resultados de uma série de ensaios de viscosidade Brookfield. O modelo consegue prever os resultados experimentais com um coeficiente de determinação R2=0,90, constituindo-se numa poderosa ferramenta de auxílio na produção de asfaltos-borracha que atendam às especificações da norma.
