Abstract

L'analisi di targets associabili ad una sorgente specifica consente di distingure la natura dell'inquinamento fecale, umana o animale di un corpo idrico. Uno studio condotto nell'interland bolognese ha valutato l'impiego di bifidobatteri come Microbial Source Tracking ospite specifico oltre che come strumento di stima dell'età della contaminazione fecale.
