Sonidos, grafías y clases de palabras. Vol I di: GREIT. Gramática de referencia de español para italófonos

Abstract

The Gramática de referencia de español para italófonos (GREIT) offers a new and original approach towards Spanish-Italian contrastive grammar and provides new lines of research and study of the Spanish language. GREIT was drafted with a special attention towards the latest theoretical, methodological and descriptive approaches in the field of Spanish grammar and theoretical and applied Linguistics. It is made up of three volumes (I. Sonidos, grafías y clases de palabras. II. Verbo: morfología, sintaxis y semántica. III. Oración, discurso, léxico) and more than fifty detailed chapters that analyse through the lens of contrastive studies issues that had not been thoroughly studied in these kinds of grammars yet, such as discourse and conversational markers, informative functions, negation or word formation. Each chapter analyses historically the main grammatical issues in both the Spanish and the Italian traditions and is closed by a critical bibliography that allows readers not only to find their way in the current trends of linguistic description, but also to set the foundations to continue their critical study and research. The project was directed by Félix San Vicente and coordinated and elaborated by numerous and prominent researchers from Italian and Spanish Universities. It is, thus, a new kind of collective work, elaborated with unified criteria and formulations, where each chapter is signed by one or more authors who are responsible for it.
