Abstract

Questo volume raccoglie i contributi di Giacomo Rinaldi, Mattia Cardenas, Giacomo Cerretani e Antonio Messina all’attuazione del Progetto di ricerca “Significato e attualità della concezione umanistica del mondo”, bandito nel 2022 dal Dipartimento DESP dell’Università di Urbino e inteso a indagare in profondità il concetto e il significato dell’Umanesimo filosofico, rivendicandone, in opposizione alle dominanti tendenze odierne dell’empirismo naturalistico, del relativismo storicistico e dell’irrazionalismo, la perenne verità e attualità. Sulla base di una deduzione razionale del concetto dell’Umanesimo svolta nel saggio di Rinaldi, le molteplici fasi del suo sviluppo storico, a partire dall’Umanesimo italiano fino all’ontologia esistenziale del XX secolo, vengono analizzate, interpretate e valutate criticamente nei quattro contributi, mostrando con stringenti argomenti logici come esso consegua la sua più piena e consistente autocoscienza, nell’ambito della filosofia europea in generale, nell’Idealismo assoluto di Hegel, e in quello della filosofia italiana in particolare, nell’Attualismo di Giovanni Gentile
