Abstract

La Chiesa storicamente, nella sua opera di evangelizzazione, ha sempre investito le proprie risorse, anche in tema di regolamentazione dell’arte sacra, sull’uomo e sugli strumenti da utilizzare a tale scopo. Fondamentale è coniugare l’annuncio e le condizioni della sua ricezione, tenuto conto che la pastorale degli artisti richiede una sensibilità estetica unita ad una sensibilità cristiana capace di costituire un cantiere privilegiato della pastorale della cultura, per un annuncio del Vangelo davvero sensibile ai “segni dei tempi”. In tale contesto si colloca “Via Pulchritudinis”, Cammino di evangelizzazione e di dialogo, documento del Pontificio Consiglio per la Cultura del marzo 2006, in cui mediante una pastorale “dell’incontro” e “della bellezza” si pongono la “dimensione estetica” e la tutela dell’arte sacra al servizio del dialogo e dell’evangelizzazione delle culture. Nel presente contributo, partendo dall’analisi del suddetto documento, ci si propone di ricostruire ed indagare
