Abstract

Si ripercorrono le tappe della Libera Scuola Superiore di Scienze Storiche "Ludovico Antonio Muratori", fondata nel 1950-51 da Lanfranco Vecchiato, incoraggiato dal progetto di legge di riforma dell'università, presentato in Parlamento dal ministro della pubblica istruzione Guido Gonella, che autorizzava iniziative private e prevedeva un percorso specifico per gli studi storici. L'esperienza della Libera Scuola Superiore di Scienze Storiche "Ludovico Antonio Muratori" veicolò l'attivazione della Facoltà di Economia e Commercio nel 1959, primogenita dell'Ateneo veronese, dopo l'esperienza del corso di laurea in Storia che non ottenne il riconoscimento ministeriale, non essendo previsto all'epoca nell'ordinamento universitario.
