Abstract

Eski Mezopotamya ve Anadolu'da yaşamış olan toplumlardan kalan yazılı belgeler incelendiği zaman, büyünün insanların günlük yaşamında önemli bir yer tuttuğu görülmektedir. Farklı uygulama yöntemleri ve amaçları olduğunu gördüğümüz çeşitli büyüler, bu işi meslek edinmiş büyücülere dair veriler ve hatta büyüyü yasaklayan kanun metinleri, tezimizin oluşmasında büyük katkı sağlamıştır. Söz konusu kaynaklar kronolojik sıra ile incelenmiş, genel sonuçlara ulaşılmış ve en son olarak da Kutsal Kitaplar'ın konuya bakış açısına yer verilerek çalışma sonlandırılmıştır. When the written documents from societies lived in the ancientMesopotamia and Anatolia are examined, it is seen that magic had a vital role inthe daily life of the people. Numerous spells, that we see as having differentapplication methods and purposes, data on the magicians and even the lawsbanning the magic have contributed greatly to the formation of our thesis. Theaforementioned sources have been examined in chronological order, generalresults have been reached, and the study finally ends with the perspective of theHoly Books on the issue.Keywords: Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Magic, Witchcraft and Magic Methods
