Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasının konusunu Türk Modernleşme hareketinde gündelik hayatpratiklerinin basın yoluyla halka sunumu ve dönemin modern gündelik hayatpratiklerinin inşası oluşturmaktadır. Çünkü basın toplumsal değişimleri yansıtması,empoze etmesi, kabul ettirmesi ve kamuoyu oluşturma özelliği bakımından bu dönemdehayati bir önem taşımaktadır. Modernizmde verilmek istenilen mesajı iletmek için enuygun araç medyadır. Günlük yaşam pratiklerine modernist uygulamaların etkisitartışılmazdır. Bu bağlamda Türkiye'de gündelik hayat ve kültür oluşumu ilişkisi çokpartili dönem ve Cumhuriyet dönemleri boyunca incelenmiş ve örneklendirilmiştir.Mekân, toplumsal cinsiyet, moda ve beden, spor, tüketim kültürü, kentlilik gibi kültürelkodlar bakımından başlıklara bölünerek dergilerin gündelik yaşam pratiklerini hangikamusal alanlarda temsil ettiği irdelenmiştir.

The subject of this thesis is the presentation of daily life practices through the press tothe Turkish Modernization movement and the construction of modern daily lifepractices of the period. Because the press is of vital importance in this period in terms ofreflecting, imposing, imposing social changes and forming public opinion. Inmodernism, the most appropriate means to convey the desired message is the media.The influence of modernist practices on daily life practices is indisputable. In thiscontext, the formation of everyday life and culture in Turkey is examined relationshipsthroughout the multiparty era and the Republican era and illustrated. Space, gender andcultural codes are divided into titles and the public spaces where journals represent dailylife practices are examined.
