Abstract

Nel grande ecosistema digitale, i Social Network Sites (DNS) sono i vettori privilegiati di interazione e diffusione dei contenuti. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram e TikTok, in quest’ordine, si sono impadroniti della rete, dei nostri computer e dei nostri smartphone, creando una dimensione osmotica che integra e spesso risponde a quanto avviene nel reale. Le mafie raccontano se stesse e si (ri)specchiano nei post di denuncia dell’antimafia sociale: se gli esperti prima interpretavano il fenomeno organizzandone il racconto, ora si può assistere al reality show delle mafie semplicemente aprendo le nostre app e selezionando il flusso dei contenuti suggeriti dagli algoritmi, o seguendo i trend virali degli hashtag o delle canzoni trap e neomelodiche. In tal senso, si è dimostrato quantomai necessario uno studio delle dinamiche performative dei mafiosi online.
