Abstract

In this work I have analyzed the technologies that most contribute to innovation and to give the added value of a library, also applicable and achievable in the context of the same: augmented reality, apps, blockchain technology and Internet of Things. The article illustrates examples of their practical realization in Italian and foreign libraries. I have also examined the most problems and criticalities of these technologies

In questo articolo ho analizzato le tecnologie che maggiormente contribuiscono all’innovazione e al valore aggiunto di una biblioteca, applicabili e realizzabili sia all’interno che nel contesto della stessa: la realtà aumentata, le app, la tecnologia blockchain e Internet of Things. Di ognuna ho illustrato anche esempi di applicazione pratica nelle biblioteche italiane e straniere, oltre a descriverne problemi e criticità.
