El presente trabajo analiza los desarrollos fotográficos de dos publicaciones claves para el fenómeno de la fotografía obrera alemana: Arbeiter-Illustrierte-Zeitung y Der Arbeiter-Fotograf. Dicha indagación se propone dar cuenta del recorrido histórico del concepto de factografía, así como de las complejidades y potencialidades que planteó el intento de establecer vínculos entre la vanguardia artística y el proletariado
