Conceptos básicos para la integración educativa de alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales

Abstract

Se realiza una revisión de diferentes conceptos-clave que se ponen en juego en los procesos de integración escolar. No se trata de un mero ejercicio teórico, pues dichos conceptos contribuyen a entender de un modo u otro dichos procesos de integración y, también, a orientar las prácticas educativas asociadas a estos procesos. Se debate, pues, entorno a conceptos tan esenciales como el concepto de necesidades educativas especiales, el concepto de currículum, con sus derivaciones hacia las adaptaciones curriculares, y el mismo concepto de integración como proceso que va más allá de las acciones curriculares. Finaliza formulando sugerencias sobre el papel de la enseñanza de la música en la educación de alumnos con discapacidad.
