Abstract

Em 1994 foram estreadas em Portugal (Continente e Ilhas) 186 longas metragens, 115 delas de origem norte-americana (61,8 %). Portugueses eram estreados apenas 9 filmes (4,9%), enquanto que a totalidade dos europeus correspondia a uma percentagem de 28,5 por cento. Estes números evidenciam à saciedade a enorme dependência do mercado de exibição/distribuição nacional face ao produto norte-americano.
