Validation and sensitivity study of an elastoplastic problem using the Worst Scenario Method

Abstract

Three models of elastoplasticity are compared on the basis of a classic example of a cyclically loaded notched bar. The numerical solution displays a monotonous dependence of the stress, adjacent to the notch, on the uncertain input material characteristics.
