Propuesta editorial y contenidos

Abstract

This Final Degree Project presents the editorial proposal and contents of Fatales, a magazine dedicated to women in the audiovisual industry. The project offers a platform with a feminist perspective that highlights female talent in film, television, radio, podcasting, streaming, and social media. Fatales emerges in response to the limited representation of women in the audiovisual field. It also addresses the demand for a gender-aware approach in journalism focused on the audiovisual industry. The magazine responds to both a market opportunity and a growing social need for feminist content within the cultural area. This work includes the practical development of an editorial proposal organized into thematic sections, the creation of various journalistic pieces, a bibliographical review, a comparative analysis of similar media, and a study of the market and the target audience. Thus, Fatales culminates in both a digital and a print magazine offering a wide range of content, from interviews and news reports to opinion articles, reviews, biographies, rankings, and other innovative formats designed to provide diversity for its audience. Fatales delivers an original and well-considered journalistic proposal that not only fills a niche within the Spanish media landscape but also acts as a social tool, amplifying women’s voices and offering them a space in the audiovisual industry through an inclusive, accessible, and committed perspective.
