SISTEMA DE MEDIDA DEL PERFIL DE VELOCIDAD EN PROCESOS DE FABRICACIÓN ADITIVA

Abstract

Final shape and appearance of 3D parts depends on an adequate kinematic and extrusion synchronization. Besides, those speed profiles determine the printing speed, which provides the printing time and therefore, the 3D printing efficiency. This work will develope a measurement system to estimate speed profiles (either the kinematic and the extrusion speeds) in FDM processes different than the use of a digital analyzer. The system is based on attaching encoders to the steper motors that run the plane movements and the extrusion. Results will be compared with the theoretical speed profile define in the printer firmware.
