The article underlines the novelty of the recent reform of the non profit/voluntary sector introduced by Legislative Decree n. 117/2017. The reform significantly reshapes the traditional private-public division in addressing public and common interests. This notwithstanding, the reform leaves some critical and controversial issues open.
