La conversación en la Universidad de los niños EAFIT

Abstract

Si uno observa el modo cómo los adultos hablan a los niños, se da cuenta de que lo hacen de muchas maneras y que algunas de ellas pueden ser ‘prototipos’. A veces, sometidos a “Su Majestad el niño”, reciben con melosidad y aspaviento cualquier manifestación suya: palabras, gestos u ocurrencias. Todo les parece gracioso, divino, tierno, digno de celebración. Otras, les hablan con excesiva autoridad. Imponen sus ideas, sus palabras, sus criterios, sus decisiones, dejando a los niños por fuera de cualquier posibilidad de diálogo. De ellos sólo se espera que acaten y obedezcan la palabra del adulto, considerada como portadora de la verdad. Con frecuencia los adultos somos sermoneros, cantaletosos. Decimos una cosa no una vez sino muchas y en esa repetición algo de la verdad o la fuerza que puedan tener nuestras palabras se desgasta.
