Gerencia de proyectos y construcción de vivienda

Abstract

Project management is the set and application of different aspects such as skills, tools, techniques and knowledge to implement them in the activities of a certain project and thus achieve the needs and expectations that are desired in the end (Moreno, 2016). In the housing construction sector it has become a tool fundamental from the beginning to the execution and closure of the projects, since these need of great resources to be able to execute in a correct way and it is necessary that everything do as planned, as a single mistake can represent non-compliance of the objectives. For this reason, it is proposed in this essay the implementation of the PMI project management in all housing projects in the country contemplating the groups of processes of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control and closure, developed under the guidelines of the PMBOK Guide (Project Management Body of Knowledge) sixth edition.
