Abstract

Imports in Colombia and worldwide are the most important since they are those that manage their economies, we will talk about the modality used to carry out illegal imports in the auto parts sector, these modalities affect both the economy of the countries and to importers who carry out the documentation and transfer of the merchandise in accordance with the requirements of Colombian law. We answer why importers use the modality of technical smuggling and how the competent authorities carry out this work to mitigate it and prevent countries from losing so much in tax evasion and that the companies that do it properly do not lose their customers.
