Desarrollo de un motor de adaptación en Moodle

Abstract

El e-learning nace en los años 90 utilizando Internet como medio para transmitir conocimiento, mediante recursos didácticos presentados como simples documentos en formato electrónico. Gracias al auge de Internet se ha transformado la forma en la que se comparte dicho conocimiento, dando lugar a un nuevo sistema pedagógico basado en una mayor participación de alumno en el proceso de aprendizaje. A lo largo de estos años han aparecido sistemas de aprendizaje que han apoyado este nuevo sistema pedagógico, tales como los Sistemas Hipermedia Educacionales (SHE). Estos sistemas persiguen la adaptación de presentación y contenido didáctico de según unas características determinadas en el alumno, con el fin de mejorar el proceso de aprendizaje. El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Máster es desarrollar módulos en Moodle que permitan la adaptación de acuerdo a un modelo de usuario. Además se estudiará implementar dichos módulos de tal forma que sean interoperables y reutilizables por otras plataformas de e-learning como Sakai o Segue, para ello se seguirán frameworks de desarrollo como IMS Abstract Framework u Open Knowledge Initiative.
