La Corte Penal Internacional del siglo XXI

Abstract

La Corte Penal Internacional arroja luces y sombras tras 14 años de funcionamiento. En cuanto a las luces hay que destacar el aumento progresivo de Estados partes, desarrollo del llamado principio de complementariedad positiva, inclusión del crímen de agresión tras la conferencia de revisión de Kampala. Actualmnete hay 21 causas, 13 ante la sala de cuestiones preliminares, 5 ante la sala de enjuiciamiento, 3 ante las salas de apelaciones. Kenya es el único caso hasta el momento de activación por parte exclusivamente del fiscal

Conferencia ofrecida a los alumnos de 3º y 4º del Grado en Derecho en el marco de la asignautra optativa Organziaciones Internacionales, del Área de Conocimiento Derecho Internacional Público y Relaciones Internacionales.
