Abstract

RESUMEN: Entre los diversos elementos característicos de la novela negra destacan tanto la metaliteratura como la autorreferencialidad, elemento que en cierta manera puede considerarse parte de las re#exiones sobre el propio género. Objeto de la presente comunicación será re#exionar sobre cómo las referencias al género negro dentro del género negro –alusiones y citas a obras, personajes y autoras y autores– presentan diversas valencias que van de la autoaformación del género a la parodia. Estas valencias determinarán la forma en que se activarán los diversos mecanismos traductivos que se pondrán en marcha, si así se considera, para decodi ficar o explicitar una serie de elementos que, en definitiva, presuponen un código preestablecido para un público lector atento y conocedor. Dicho de otra forma: podríamos formularnos, al traducir literatura negra, la siguiente pregunta: ¿poseen las referencias culturales de carácter autorreferencial presentes en las novelas detectivesco-policíacas un estatus especial?
