ABSTRACT: Heirs is an article of 'the Unity of Theatrical Time'. Its main character, the conductibe thread of the plot, struggles between the power acquired by the expanded conscience of temporariness and the existential weight implied by ir, a consequence of the hermetic and beautiful character of time, inevitably filling it. Laurel, who has remained suspended in Walkens Clausten´s relatibe time- a place he arrived in by chance during his life- , wishes to disppear lest he inherit either his beingor his history, and during such an intent the decomes an unreal being, a character belonging to history itself, who will never disappear; a paradox that, whithin the framework of 'self-expatriation', determines his existence in relation to an unchanging moving-on, recognition, adventure and fatality.
