Qualidade da espirometria: as orientações serão suficientes?

Abstract

A espirometria não é um exame simples. O profissional que faz o exame é o principal determinante da sua qualidade e os alertas para qualidade repetem-se. A espirometria realiza-se há mais de 150 anos, mas ainda se verificam problemas de qualidade que originam interpretações erradas por má utilização de equipamentos que cumprem com as recomendações e por má performance técnica.
