O emprego apoiado e o emprego protegido - Estudo comparativo

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The main objective of this research was to study the differences concerning professional, community and personal characteristics, existing between users with disabilities enrolled in programs of sheltered employment and supported employment. Questionnaires were presented to 50 participants, properly selected aiming for greater similarity, as possible, between the two groups, 25 participants integrated into the regime of protected employment, and 25 participants integrated into the regime of supported employment. The responses were analyzed using the program IBM SPSS Statistic, 2012. The results showed differences as to the questions proposed for the study. For example, on one hand the participants in sheltered employment seem to feel inserted and more politically active, on the other hand participants that showed more autonomy are inserted in supported employent. We also raise the possibility that the participants of the supported employment feel more present and have a greater notion of the rights and duties as a company employee.
