Realidad Velada

Abstract

EN Veiled Reality is a project that raises different concepts of the mask, from the point of view of the subject, of oneself, from the anonymity and in turn, what this entails in the panorama of the social. This project includes all the process, from the creation of the idea, through the study of the concepts raised, to its final resolution. Within the study has worked the analysis of various fields such as identity by authors such as Maalouf or Freud, philosophical currents with authors such as Hegel in regard to anonymity and socially Nietzsche or Lipovetsky. The conceptual development from experience has been the basis for constructing the theoretical framework and the plastic resolution of the works. Since the function of the artist is to communicate, this project has been the tool to express one’s own concern on this subject. From the need to hide behind masks due to fears and pre-judices that underlie our own being. From the need to project an image of ourselves that is sweetened and far from reality and, of course, what it implies in our environ-ment and our social relationships
