The Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that’s frequency of occurrence has increased considerably in recent years. Children with this disorder have a higher risk of school failure, behavioral problems and difficulties in social and family relationships. Furthermore, it is a disorder that has a high comorbidity (40% -60%) with other behavioral and/or emotional problems, with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) being one of the most freqüent. The objective of this work is the behavioral change through the implementation of an intervention to a child of 6 years. This shows a pattern of disruptive behavior towards relatives, especially towards his mother, in addition to learning and behavior problems in school. The treatment was based on a specific intervention in the family context, supported by the school, through cognitive-behavior modification techniques. The results show significant improvements in disruptive behavior, as well as the attitude towards the mother. The main contribution of the work has been support to this family, which has been positive, especially for children. However, it would be necessary to have a continuity to maintain improvements.
