Competencias profesionales y género

Abstract

Treball de Final de Grau en Psicologia. Codi: PS1048. Curs acadèmic 2016-2017 En esta investigación se aborda el tema de las competencias profesionales, centrándonos en la relación de estas con el genero masculino y femenino. Se hace una presentación en base a las revisiones de otras investigaciones y mediante los diferentes estilos que se abordan en el mundo del trabajo con los hombres y las mujeres, haciendo ahínco en la dificultad que tienen las mujeres para acceder a un puesto de trabajo, así como, las barreras que se les presentan a estas aun teniendo las mismas competencias profesionales que los hombres. Además, se hace una primera aproximación de si realmente se demandan las mismas competencias dependiendo del género, o si, efectivamente existen diferencias entre unos y otros. Para la obtención de datos, se realizan entrevistas individuales semi-estructuradas a una muestra de unas 14 mujeres, donde se sondea la percepción que ellas tienen sobre esta realidad, habiéndole explicado de manera anterior a la entrevista, los datos que se han ido obteniendo a lo largo de la investigación. El objetivo principal del presente estudio es explorar, si las mujeres en el ámbito laboral, perciben que sus competencias profesionales están desvalorizadas respecto a la de los hombres ¿Se demandan las mismas competencias profesionales a un hombre que a una mujer?, ¿Y al mismo nivel? This research is carried out a theoretical approach where is exposed are the professional competencies focusing on the relationship of these with the gender male and female. Exposed, through the reviews of other research the different styles of dealing with men and women in the world of work, making emphasis on the difficulty that women have access to a job, as well as the barriers that they face, still having the same profesional competencies that men. In addition, is a first approximation of if they are actually demanded different skills depending on the gender, or if there are indeed differences between the two. For the data collection, is performed interviews individual and semi-structured to a sample of some 14 women, where is search it perception that them have on this reality, having you explained of way previous to the interview them data that have gone obtaining along the research. He target main of the present study is explore, if them women in the field labor, perceive that their skills professional are devalued respect to it of them men, Is demand them same skills professional to a man that to a woman? And at the same nevel?
