O artigo objetiva analisar quais são as semelhanças e as diferenças, em termos de indicadores econômicos e estruturas histórico-institucionais, entre a crise financeira internacional de 2007-8, originada a partir da crise do subprime nos Estados Unidos, e a Grande Depressão dos anos 1930.
The article aims at comparing, in terms of economic figures and historical and institutional frameworks, the 2007-8 international financial crisis, that was originated in the United States, and the Great Depression.
