Sao discutidos aspectos eticos relativos a formacao de bancas examinadoras, com foco na presenca de ex-orientadores e co-autores de candidatos. Vieses e parcialidade sao brevemente analisados no contexto da evolucao humana, chegando a questao da discriminacao. Argumenta-se que, para evitar conflitos de interesse, deve-se evitar a presenca tanto de amigos (no sentido do favorecimento) como de inimigos (definidos no sentido da rejeicao, levando ao desfavorecimento de candidatos) nas referidas bancas. Finalmente, questiona-se co-autoria como fator de predicao de amizade.
